We employ plant-based ink for printing purposes, a choice that carries significant impact. Not only is it safer for the environment and human health, surpassing the potential risks associated with phthalate and lead-based inks, but it also presents notable advantages during recycling due to its ease of breakdown compared to oil-based inks. Moreover, in the bleaching process, soy ink exhibits biodegradability and renewability, distinguishing it from lead-based alternatives. This conscious decision enhances our commitment to sustainability and fosters a greener future.

We take great care in packaging your items, utilizing our signature, recyclable black kraft paper. To protect your items on their journey, your order will arrive in an appropriately sized, corrugated shipping box. With the exception of our sticker seals, all of our packaging is bio-degradable, re-usable, and recyclable. As part of our ongoing efforts to preserve natural resources, we have replaced traditional paper receipts and packing slips with a digital confirmation email, minimizing paper waste while still providing essential information.

Currently, we have two ongoing initiatives dedicated to the donation of damaged or defective planners. Under our Arise for Animals program, we facilitate in-kind planner donations to the diligent staff and dedicated volunteers of non-profit organizations within the US animal protection community.
Additionally, through our newly launched endeavor, Per Aspera Ad Astra, we provide introspective, organizational tools to independent artists and creative entrepreneurs who represent the future of artistic innovation.
Both initiatives go beyond mere philanthropy by embodying our steadfast commitment to sustainability. By repurposing damaged or defective planners and redirecting them to deserving individuals and organizations, we significantly reduce our contribution to landfill waste and instead contribute to the circular economy by preventing these planners from becoming wasted resources.
